# Junior Account Manager  Lisbon (Hybrid)

## Granter is building an AI agent that **handles grants end-to-end**. The AI Grant Consultant helps companies discover funding opportunities, draft stronger proposals faster, and manage funded projects after approval. Our mission is to enable businesses of all sizes to leverage incentives to grow and innovate. We are deeply involved in the Portuguese startup ecosystem and were the **winners of the Web Summit Pitch Competition 2025**.

## We are now looking for a **Junior Account Manager** to support the Client Operations team and ensure that companies using Granter have a smooth and successful experience.

## You will work directly with clients, helping them adopt the platform, integrate it into their workflows, and move forward with real funding opportunities. When things get stuck, unclear, or slow, you step in and unblock them.

## You will not be expected to figure everything out alone. You will work closely with more senior team members and learn by doing. As you grow, this role can and should evolve into a full Account Manager or other client-facing role.

## **What This Role Involves**

- ## You sit with the **operations team**, acting as point of contact between clients and Granter

- ## Support the management of a portfolio of Granter clients

- ## Help ensure successful onboarding and adoption

- ## Support clients in integrating Granter into their funding and innovation workflows

- ## Monitor client progress and ensure they extract measurable value from the platform

- ## Collect feedback from clients and share insights with the team

- ## Help maintain a high standard of client experience and satisfaction

## **What We Are Looking For**

This role is for someone **who learns quickly and wants to grow** into owning client relationships and outcomes. We care more about **evidence than years**, but below is the minimum baseline we believe you need to be effective:

### **Experience**

- **0–2 years of experience** in Account Management, Customer Success, or similar roles (Internships or relevant academic experience also count)

### **Additional Plus**

- Any experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a strong plus

- Knowledge about public funding, grants, or innovation projects

### **Core Skills**

- **Strong communication** and **relationship-building** skills

- Ability to stay organized across multiple clients and priorities

- Good judgment on when to ask for help, follow up, or escalate

- Comfortable using generative AI tools (E.g: ChatGPT, Claude)

### **Communication**

- Clear and direct communicator

- Fluent in **English** and **Portuguese**

### **Mindset**

- Strong sense of **ownership** and **accountability**

- Eagerness to learn and improve quickly through feedback

- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment

- Proactive and not afraid to follow up, push, or challenge when needed

- **Curious about AI** and how it changes how companies work
