# Full-Stack Engineer Lisbon (Hybrid)

## Granter is building an AI agent that **handles grants end-to-end**. The AI Grant Consultant helps companies discover funding opportunities, draft stronger proposals faster, and manage funded projects after approval. Our mission is to enable businesses of all sizes to leverage incentives to grow and innovate. We are deeply involved in the Portuguese startup ecosystem and were the **winners of the Web Summit Pitch Competition 2025**.

## We are now looking for a **Full-Stack Engineer**. A versatile builder who enjoys taking a problem and turning it into a working product, end-to-end.

## **What This Role Involves**

- ## Be part of the **tech team**, working closely with **engineering, product, and leadership**

- ## You will start by learning the **full system**, then move into a **cross-functional squad** with **full ownership of a specific domain**

- ## Take **decisions**, not just implement. You will help **define how things are built**.

- ## This is not a “ _just ship tickets_” role. We expect engineers to stay close to the **problems and product outcomes**, not just code

- ## We aim to be at the **frontier of vertical AI agents**, and you are expected to help **push that forward.**

- ## Use AI as part of your development workflow. We welcome it as a tool to move faster, not a replacement for engineering judgment

## **What We Are Looking For**

This role is for someone versatile, ambitious, and willing to learn fast. Someone who enjoys figuring things out, taking ownership, and building across different parts of the system. ### **How We Like to Work**

We aim to build a team of **high-agency builders** \- people who take initiative, move problems forward, and don’t wait for permission to improve things.

You’ll likely do well here if you:

- Take **ownership**

- Focus on **outcomes**, not just outputs

- Move ideas forward quickly through **testing** and **iteration**

- Communicate clearly and give **direct, no-B.S. feedback**

- Collaborate effectively across **disciplines**

- Stay comfortable operating in **ambiguity**

- Are curious about AI and how technology reshapes work

Granter is still early in its journey, and we are serious about creating an **environment where things get built**. People here tend to **befriend each other** and often stay engaged with the team beyond the strict boundaries of work. We regularly spend time together through **team activities** and **startup ecosystem** events.

If that excites you, we’d love to hear from you. If it scares you, this may not be the right place, and that’s okay.

### **Location Requirement**

This role requires **physical presence in Lisbon**.

Please **do not apply if you are not currently based in Lisbon**.
